Federal Electoral Boundaries for Hull-Aylmer
Dear constituents,
In July, the 2012 Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission for Quebec presented its proposed boundaries for what is now the Hull–Aylmer constituency. Since you are the ones who will be affected the most by these changes, I would like to invite you to participate in the consultation process and to let me know what you think.
The 2012 Federal Electoral Boundaries Commission for Quebec is recommending that the current Hull–Aylmer riding be split in two ridings : Aylmer and Outaouais.
The Touraine, Carrefour de l’Hôpital and Pointe-Gatineau neighbourhoods would be put together with the former city of Hull to form an urban riding named Outaouais.
Then the riding “Aylmer,” which would include the former city of the same name, the Plateau, the municipality of Pontiac up to Wyman, as well as Chelsea, Cantley and La Pêche.
